It’s hard to imagine another year has evaporated in a flurry of activity, but it has. Thankfully this winter has been a little kinder to Baca County than last winter was! In light of the stress our area has been through BCCD decided to make our annual meeting a fun event. We have a lot to celebrate as a District: 70 years of partnering with landowners to enhance conservation in Baca County. Join us Friday, April 4th at 6 p.m. in the Baca County Resource Center. We will have a very unique entertainer this year: a comedy magician! “Mr. E” has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years, a master of his craft. His act, Classic Magic-Slightly Bent, is a delightful blend of humor and magic. Mr. E takes his audiences on a roller coaster ride of mystery, suspense, and laughter. Kim’s Ribs is providing a delectable feast of barbeque ribs, sausage and brisket with all the trimmings. Renew your BCCD Membership and attend the event free. Individual membership is $30 and includes one ticket. Family membership is $50 and includes two tickets. Business membership is $100, includes two tickets and a year’s advertising in the BCCD Newsletter. All members receive a 10% discount on tree supplies, equipment rental and other items offered by the Conservation District. Tickets without membership are $10 each.
